Welcome or welcome back.

Today I will be talking about Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan, which is now my all-time favorite book.

Archer’s Voice had been on my TBR for about a month but since I was doing my exams, I could not pick it up just yet.

Archer’s Voice is a must read in my opinion.

Summary

This is a story about Bree and Archer Hale. Bree moves to a small town called Pelion to forget what had happened to her in the past, searching for peace. She meets Archer Hale, who is the towns outcast and does not speak to anyone.

I will leave it at that and let you read the whole story by yourself.

My thoughts on Archer’s Voice

This book is a friends to lovers’ trope, which is my best of all time tropes.

This book is beautifully written, the pace is amazing and at no point did I feel like I was getting bored.

I particularly love how Bree’s character is written, very real and witty.

I found Bree and Archer’s first encounter so hilarious, but so realistic and captivating.

Acher Hale…Archer is honestly my favorite character in this book.

He has been through so much in his past but still keeps strong and is selfless.

At the beginning, he is closed off, which is to be expected after all he has been through, and his sense of humor…amazing.

He is genuinely such a pure and amazing soul. He is amazingly written.

The other characters such Maggie, Liza, Travis and all the others are also written in such a manner that they were not to over bearing but also memorable.

I particularly did not like Travis Hale, he was just annoying in my opinion.

But again, he did play an instrumental role in bringing the story together.

Bree and Archer compliment each other and the writer also shows us how their love story is not perfect, highlighting their insecurities, a mirror of real life.

I have never read a book such as this one, and this is an automatic five star read for me.

The only thing that I that I kind of did not like about this book is that Travis Hale’s character was not really given much attention in the part where I would have loved to see what was going on in his mind.

I will definitely be picking up more Mia Sheridan books.

My favorite phrases from Archer’s Voice

Why was I more excited to go show my strange silent boy how to cook for himself……Whoa. I stopped and just stood beside my bike for a minute. My strange, silent boy? Not hardly, Bree. Just go on your bike and go show your friend how to make a decent meal for himself.’

‘I wanted to ask her why she wanted to spend time with me, but I wasn’t sure about all the social rules there.’

‘What are you doing here? I asked.

You don’t like thunderstorms he answered. I titled my head, confused. You walked a mile in the rain because I don’t like thunderstorms?

I know I’m probably the last person you want to see right now, but I just thought if I sat on your porch, you wouldn’t be scared. You wouldn’t be alone.’

Those are just a few lines that I really loved in the book.

I would really love to know what your favorite parts of the book were, what you think about the book and you’re rating down below in the comment section.

This sounds like a great read. Friends to lovers tropes are great if they’re done well and it sounds like this one really was!

Yes, it was not drawn out and it really had me over the edge of my seat. This was a 5 star read for me.
