Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover was among the first books I have read since I started reading novels.

This book had me over the edge of my seat and kept me hooked the entire time I was reading it.

Summary of Ugly Love

This book follows along the story of Miles Archer and Tate Collins. Miles is a pilot and Tate is studying to become a nurse. This is a brothers best friend and friends with benefits trope. Miles had some tragic things happen to him in the past and is very closed off to the idea of seeking out love again. Tate on the other hand really likes Miles and wants to get to know him better. This gets really messy as they decide to become friends with benefits with Miles only setting two rules in their agreement, never ask about the past and don’t expect a future.

My thoughts

This is a must read if you are looking for a book that will captivate you or get you out of a reading slump.

Colleen Hoover is one of those authors that just know how to hook you from the begining.

What I really love about this book is the dual pov.

Most specifically Miles point of view which is written in kind of a poem style.

I honestly felt really bad for Tate because it does feel like Miles was leading her on, which he was but at the a same time being closed off to her.

Tate went through a lot with Miles but what happened to Miles also made my heart drop.

This was a four star read.

It was a great read but didn’t give me a five star reading majorly because of Miles.

If you have not read this yet I would most certainly recommend you do so.
